Edvard Anderson's Greenhouseby ~HenrikSundholm

This is Edvard Anderson's Greenhouse, located in the Bergius Botanical Garden across from my university. The garden has its roots (pun intended) in the 1700s, but moved to its present location in 1885. As for the particular greenhouse, it was built in 1995 and named after a merchant donor from the 1930s.

I visited the garden on an earlier occasion, and the greenhouse was lit up beautifully from the inside. This would make for an awesome HDR, yes? So I came back and waited as the sun went down... only to find the lights being turned off! That, in turn, turned me off, and I started to walk away. For some reason I looked over my shoulder after walking maybe a 100 ft, and saw these other lights had been activated. So I went back again and got maybe five or six shots before they were suddenly turned off...!

I'm usually in luck with these things, but not this time. It was tired and frustrated, but I guess I did get a photo or two anyway.

Kind of! No, unfortunately it closed just some 20 minutes before I got there. But I'm sure I'll have other chances
