I was browsing through some of my old photos during a lunch break the other week, and I stumbled onto this one. It looked neat, so I post-processed it when I got home. You miss these things sometimes... I can't really tell you anything about the object though. I shot it in the Royal Armory, a museum devoted to the Swedish history of monarchy, so I guess it was owned by a royal person at some point.
To mention something else entirely, how do you feel about borders or frames? I rarely use them because I rarely see a point in doing so. Some even tend to give photos a kind of cheap snapshot "look what I just grabbed with my smartphone"-feel to them. In this case however, the nostalgia of the subject seemed to demand an appropriate border.
