As a photographer I have learned that we rarely have dramatic cloud formations in Sweden. Typically we have the grey overcasts of autumn and winter, or the clearblue gradient skies of spring and summer. You don't think much of it in everyday life, but for the landscape photographer it's a bit dull. This evening, however, was unusually cloudy. Clouds not only add drama, but also balances the light distribution across the composition.
I shot this on Kastellholmen
which is an islet in the middle of Stockholm.
