Have you ever wanted to shoot somewhere, but knowing you'd never be allowed to? I suggest you place a phone call or send an e-mail anyway because you just might be in luck.
This was shot inside the Royal Opera House in Stockholm. When I e-mailed them, I thought maybe
I'd be allowed to shoot the stairway or something like that. But no. I got the entire building (the semi-public parts of it that is) for myself, and an hour and a half to fill my memory card. The stairway, the golden baroque foyers, even the stage. On top of that, I was allowed to use a tripod.
It was definitely the best photography experience this year, and one of my best ever. I'll be sure to tell you more about it. Anyway, here's a teaser image to give you an idea of the interior.
